
Tekoa Partners teamed with a nonprofit subsidiary of SafePlace (Austin's award-winning sexual assault and domestic violence shelter) to design, finance and develop Grove Place Apartments. Using Low Income Housing Tax Credit and State of Texas Housing Trust Fund resources, the team has created a community that offers high-quality, affordable apartments for working families with a wide range of incomes. Scheduled for occupancy in October 2004, the community features recreational facilities and an array of educational services, including classes in financial literacy and English as a Second Language.
